Manage the safety of the railway system and the railway operations of the Infrastructure Manager(s) and Train Operating Companies (Railway Undertakings)

Infrastructure Manager(s) and Train Operating Companies (Railway Undertakings) must design, construct or manufacture, maintain and operate their railway system in a safe manner.

How to control the safety of our system? What parameters need to be considered?

This course will provide an understanding of how to manage the safety of the railway system and the railway operations of the Infrastructure Manager(s) and Train Operating Companies. We will provide practical advice and suggestions in developing and managing the safety by developing and implementing a proper Safety Management System  (or SMS), to meet the requirements of safety, as set up in the legal frameworks.
